HOW DO I OBTAIN REFILLS FROM ST. MARTIN'S HEALTHCARE?
St. Martin’s Healthcare is not a pharmacy and can only provide medications that are prescribe by the clinic’s providers. If you receive your medication from the clinic and run out before your next appointment, please call the clinic and speak to one of the nurses. If you receive PAP medications, please call the clinic when you are down to a 30-day supply so the medication may be reordered for you. When you have a 1 month supply left, it is your responsibility to call the clinic (260) 357-0077 ext 305 to reorder. We cannot guarantee you will be able to get your medication unless you call to reorder. Yearly re-enrollments for each medication are needed. You must continue your follow-up visits with the clinic’s healthcare provider as required.
WHAT IS PATIENT ASSISTANCE?
St. Martin’s Healthcare assists our patients with obtaining their prescribed medications through a variety of pharmaceutical donation programs. Each pharmaceutical company has its own requirements and forms to be completed and signed. We understand that this process can be overwhelming and will help you apply for and receive the medication(s) you may be qualified to receive.

Please Allow up to two hours to complete a new patient registration form and health history questionnaire, be seen by a healthcare provider, have medications prescribed and have blood work or dental x-rays done, if needed. A welcoming, comfortable, clean, and professional medical environment awaits you! Your privacy, dignity and well being are very important to us.

WHAT IS THE COVID-19 APPOINTMENT POLICY?
If you have any COVID-19 symptoms SUCH AS cough or shortness of breath, fever, chills, headache, muscle aches, or new loss of taste or smell or been exposed, we will not see you IN the clinic but will conduct a Telehealth visit and or COVID-19 testing. DOES ST. MARTIN'S HEALTHCARE ACCEPT WALK-IN APPOINTMENTS?
HOW MUCH DOES AN APPOINTMENT COST?
Yes, St. Martin’s Healthcare does accept walk-in patients, however it is best to call first to be sure our schedule will allow a same day appointment. If you do not have an appointment, the clinic is generally able to see you the same day or within 24 hours.
St. Martin’s Healthcare is a free clinic. All services and medications provided at the clinic are at no cost to patients. The clinic does not submit any insurance claims and is funded through grants and donations. To help cover a portion of the cost, St. Martin’s Healthcare invites patients to donate. This is a free-will offering and no patient will be turned away because they are unable to contribute.

IS ST. MARTIN'S AN URGENT CARE OR EMERGENCY CARE CLINIC?
St, Martin’s provides healthcare and medication for uninsured and under- served who live in DeKalb, Noble, Steuben and LaGrange counties.
No, St. Martin’s Healthcare is not equipped to care for emergency situations or after-hours care. There is not a doctor on call after hours. If you are experiencing chest pain, having trouble breathing, severe bleeding or any other life-threatening symptoms, please call 911or go to your nearest hospital emergency room.
WHAT IF I DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH?

English is the common language spoken at St. Martin’s Healthcare. Because medical/dental history is taken, prescribed medications carefully explained, and critical directions regarding healthcare given – all in English, the patient must be able to understand what doctors, nurses and assistants are saying. St. Martin’s Healthcare is fortunate to have the services of a Spanish speaking physician on a monthly basis. However, it is recommended patients bring an adult that can translate for them if the patient cannot speak English.
El inglés es el idioma común que se habla en St. Martin's Healthcare. Debido a que se toma el historial médico/dental, se explican cuidadosamente los medicamentos recetados y se dan instrucciones críticas sobre la atención médica, todo en inglés, el paciente debe poder comprender lo que dicen los médicos, enfermeras y asistentes. St. Martin's Healthcare tiene la suerte de contar mensualmente con los servicios de un médico que habla español. Sin embargo, se recomienda que los pacientes traigan a un adulto que pueda traducirles si el paciente no habla inglés.

St. Martin’s Healthcare provides healthcare for those who are under-served as well as uninsured. You may qualify for certain services at the clinic and our staff can help determine this when you bring all the above documents to the clinic. Please call the clinic with any questions.
Work injuries (workers compensation), motor vehicle accidents, sexually transmitted diseases and obstetric service cannot be provided at the clinic. St. Martin’s Healthcare does not prescribe any contraceptives or controlled substances.
