ST. MARTIN'S APPRECIATIVE OF GOLF OUTING SUPPORT
St. Martin’s would like to say “Thank you” to everyone who made the 15th annual benefit golf outing an outstanding success this year! On the morning of Saturday, Aug. 5, 32 teams teed off at the Garrett Country Club for the 15th annual benefit golf outing. Everyone enjoyed a day of beautiful weather out on the course, as they supported the St. Martin’s Healthcare.

ST. MARTIN'S HEALTH CARE MOBILE CLINIC ARRIVES!
After months of waiting, St. Martin’s Healthcare’s mobile unit arrived June 1 with plans to bring it out into the community starting by the middle of July. As the free health clinic grew to serve four counties in northeast Indiana, officials saw an increasing travel barrier among many of their patients. St. Martin’s Healthcare recognized that 80% of cancellations or missed appointments within the past two years correlated to the lack of access to reliable transportation or lack of finances to maintain the vehicle.

SDI DONATION HELPS FUND MOBILE HEALTHCARE CLINIC
Steel Dynamics Inc. of Butler has donated $100,000 to St. Martin’s Healthcare to help with the organization’s mobile health care clinic program. ST. MARTIN TOURS TO REVEAL DENTAL CLINIC RENOVATIONS
“Rarely are we able to purchase new equipment and our old equipment had seen its better days,” Stafford said. “It is important for St. Martin’s to provide top-notch dental care and increase our dental volunteer pool in order to meet the needs in the communities we care for. These renovations have definitely accomplished both!”

ST. MARTIN'S HEALTH CARE INCLUDES SPIRITUAL CARE IF DESIRED
Dr. Ted Deal is one of many volunteers at St. Martin’s Healthcare. The volunteer-based clinic is staffed by 13 part-time employees, a medical director, and a full-time executive director. As its website states, “Many healthcare professions volunteer their time, performing the Lord’s healing work with compassion, convicted caring and Christian charity.”
