In order to fulfill Christ’s command to care for the sick and to uphold the sanctity of life from conception to natural death, it is the mission of St. Martin’s Healthcare Services to offer quality healthcare to those individuals without the means to provide for themselves. In this, we strive to help maintain the physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual health of our community.
Mission Statement
St. Martin’s Healthcare, Inc. provides quality medical and dental care for acute and chronic conditions, optometry and medication assistance services to uninsured and underinsured residents in DeKalb, Stueben, LaGrange, and Noble counties. It is a full-service clinic that meets the needs of its residents and is impacting many individuals and families who would otherwise have no access to healthcare. All services provided at the clinic are at no charge to our patients. St. Martin’s Healthcare is the only charitable healthcare clinic located in DeKalb County.
It is estimated that 25-30% of DeKalb and Noble County residents will be uninsured or underinsured at some point during the year.
To the majority of our patients, we are their medical and dental home. The clinic is supported completely by grants, foundations, community donations and fund-raisers. Our clinic continually strives to care compassionately for any of the Lord’s flock who enter our doors professing healthcare need.
